Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, who else can see it, and how to get it deleted. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.

The short version: we collect what you type into the estimate form so we can quote your job, and anonymous traffic statistics if you let us. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the estimate form on our contact page, we collect:

• Your name and phone number, which are required so we can get back to you.
• Your email address, if you choose to give it.
• The city or town your project is in, so we know whether it is in our service area.
• The service you need and any project details you write.

We also record the IP address the submission came from and the time it arrived. That is used only to catch spam and abuse.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information through this form. It is a quote request, and we do not need anything beyond what the fields ask for.

Information collected automatically

If you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymous statistics about how the site is used: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device they are on. This is aggregate data. It does not tell us who you are.

If you decline, none of it is collected and no analytics cookie is set.

Why we collect it

• To quote and do your job. This is the main reason. We cannot give you an estimate without being able to reach you.
• To answer questions you send us.
• To stop spam. The IP address and timing checks exist purely to keep automated junk out of the inbox.
• To understand what is useful on the site, if you have accepted analytics.

We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we do not send newsletters or bulk mail.

Who else can see it

We keep this list short on purpose. Your information is shared only with the services that make the website work:

• Resend delivers the estimate form to our inbox and, if you gave us your email address, sends you one confirmation that we received it. The contents of your submission pass through their systems as the email is sent. See the Resend privacy policy.
• Hostinger hosts this website and its server logs. See the Hostinger privacy policy.
• Google Analytics receives anonymous usage statistics, and only if you accept analytics cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
• Google Maps provides the embedded map on our contact page. Loading that map means Google can see your IP address, the same as visiting Google Maps directly.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We would only hand it over if the law required it.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses very few.

• Necessary. We store your cookie choice itself, so the banner stops asking. This is kept in your browser's local storage, never sent to us, and the site cannot work sensibly without remembering it.
• Analytics (optional, off until you accept). If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. If you decline or ignore the banner, these are never set.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we have explicitly turned off Google's advertising and personalisation signals.

How long we keep it

• Estimate requests: kept while we are quoting or doing your work, and for a reasonable period afterwards as a record of the job. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we have no reason to keep it.
• Spam-prevention records: a matter of hours.
• Analytics: retained by Google under their own schedule, in anonymous aggregate form.

Your choices, and how to get your data deleted

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no process to navigate. Call (806) 679-0080 or email coxcreek.resource@gmail.com, tell us what you want done, and we will do it.

We may need to keep records tied to work we have actually carried out, for the usual business and tax reasons. We will tell you if that applies.

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of personal data, and the right not to have it sold. Since we do not sell personal data, that last one is already covered. Exercising any of these rights costs nothing and we will not treat you differently for asking.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. Form submissions are validated on our server and rate limited. Access to the inbox that receives estimate requests is limited to the owners of the business.

No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can say is that we collect as little as possible, which is the most reliable protection there is.

Children

This site is aimed at property owners and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, call us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the cookie banner as well.
